Description
The Morris Marina was dubbed one of the worst cars ever produced but despite that, it was really popular during its lifetime and came in several body styles and engine sizes. Based on the 1.8 Super version, registration number AET 300L it comes in Harvest Gold, which was one of the most popular colour schemes of the 1970s. The front sidelights and rear lights are picked out in orange/silver and orange/red respectively and a high number of masking operations replicate the silver (chrome) finish of the real thing. Note particularly the silver trim detail on the wheel rims and the front grille. This model epitomises the four-door saloon of the era, despite its reputation in the real world!
